Beit Shmulevitz, A Tel Aviv Classic since 1935

What makes a piece of art a classical one? Some say that it is the unique beauty and character that it retains throughout the years. Others say that it is an atemporal artistic creation – one whose pertinence is untouched by the passage of time. These factors also make Shmulevich House an atemporal classic in Tel Aviv, in the manner of Nachum Gutman’s drawings or a song by Hayim Nahman Bialik.

You now have the opportunity to purchase a classical work of art in a building conservation project that is being executed according to the highest standards while recreating the building’s historical designs and connecting the visual aspect to its unique location at the heart of the White City of Tel Aviv.

There are 4 luxury apartments and a magnificent penthouse that stretches over an entire floor.

Each apartment has covered parking in a building.

The history of the building dates back to 1930

Gershon and Esther Shmulevitz bought the house and lot at the corner of 9 Borochov St. and 22 Perez Hayot St. in Tel Aviv. For the planning of a new residential building, the couple hired the services of architect and engineer Mordechai Rosengarten who commenced work in 1935 at the peak of Tel Aviv’s economical boom during the 5th Aaliyah. The building has 3 levels and was designed in the international “Bauhaus” style that was popular in the Tel Aviv of the 20th century. The front of the building is reminiscent of a ship’s prow and the round windows emphasize the singular and creative concept behind the design.

In 1992, the building was designated for conservation as part of the White City of Tel Aviv project.
